I have recently returned from another trip to Fieldworks, Sasayama Ogami Janap where I assisted with a group of students from Australia and New York.
Students were guided in the making of works to suit the packing and firing of a small anagama kiln.
During my time we visited Tamba, Shigaraki and Bizen sharing the depth of tradition and knowledge of these ancient ceramic areas.
