Over the past couple of weeks many activities have been happening in my workshop. Drying out clay bodies, reclaiming clay, making pots, packing kiln, collecting and splitting wood, sieving glazes, making up glaze and clay tests and putting finishing touches to new kiln.

These square slab plates have been made from a blend of local clays & fired in my anagama for around 120 hrs. Stacked on the hot face but slightly sheltered by large bulbous forms the flame 🔥 had passed over & through them leaving its indeli

A new landscape platter made @nqpotters workshop & fired in @jeanmcmaster tiny train kiln this past week. I'm enjoying the way the feldspathic glaze is reflecting the dry earth which is around the tablelands at the moment
